What is it
A personal guitar fretboard tool I built for myself — to quickly visualise scales, modes, and chord shapes across the neck without hunting through tab sites or theory books.
Not a product. Not polished for an audience. Just a piece of software that does exactly what I need, the way I want it, nothing more.
How it was built
This is an example of what AI-assisted development actually looks like in practice — a real use case, a clear mental model, and a few focused prompts. The result is a working tool in the time it would have taken to configure someone else's app to my liking.
No framework sprawl. No dependencies I don't understand. Just the thing I needed, built to my taste, owned entirely.
Why it matters
- Solves a real personal problem — not a demo or toy project
- Built fast with LLMs, but shaped by genuine intent
- A reminder that software can still be personal and small
- You don't need a team or months of work to own your tools
